Paddock Wood Youth Council

Paddock Wood Youth Council was established in February 2016, to enable children and young people to have a say in the future of the Town.  The group meets once a month on a Monday evening between 6 and 7 pm, with 11 groups represented and chaired by Councillor Carol Williams.

The group designed their own logo (above) and have discussed a wide range of issues relating to current activities and the future of Paddock Wood.  They have been involved in the development of the Neighbourhood Plan, produced a very innovative specification for a Community Centre and were key to running the litter pick which took place in June.

The group has developed a list of activities available for children and young people (see below) and plans to advertise these at key points around the town.  We will be working on this over the next few months.  If your group is not included in this list or you would like to be represented on the Youth Council or be included in the list, please contact the Town Council and provide details.
